VibeEDapps

Here you will find Education focused apps that we and our community have created with AI tools.

Enjoy and share them. Blessings

📚 My Reading Tracker

This app gives book lovers a simple way to keep track of the books they are reading and the time they spend reading it. They can also tag, rate, and leave notes about their books. They can also download and upload their book information with a CSV.

📚 Homework Time Tracker

This app is to help students stay focused on one task at a time and to track how much time they spend on each subject. We hear from parents and students that they have too much homework but my first question is always “What are they doing and for how long?” This tool allows them to export this information in a spreadsheet to share with their parents and teachers. Medication Game

This practice app was built to allow players to upload a .csv (sample .csv) file of medications and then practice studying medication names and their relevant information. In this practice app, students can study generic names along with technical names, content area, nursing notes, indications, side effects and contraindications. Additionally, players can select certain areas to focus on, and in the game/quiz mode, can practice a stack of “missed” medications. Looking to expand this game to allow for any practice set of information to be uploaded, not just medications. Look for an updated version soon! (Aaron created this app with Canva Code)

📝 Text Difference

Every week I assign a Bible passage for my students to memorize. On Fridays they open a quiz on their computer where they type the meaning. Then I compare the original passage with what they typed. Each quiz is worth the same points in my grade book but the question is worth the total number of words that passage has. So, I count how many words the student got wrong and subtract it from the total possible. I do not count punctuation or miss spelled words. This app helps me see the differences easier. Word Trace Spelling App

This app was created with early learners in mind (PK-2nd Grade) where tracing letters and words is helpful in not just learning to spell, but in learning letter formations. Students using this app can also hear the word pronounced, used in a sentence, hear the part of speech, and take a quiz on what they’ve learned. The game is loaded with a set of first grade level words for practice focused on participating in a spelling bee. (Aaron created this app with Canva Code)

📚 Passage Memorizer

This app helps students memorize passages by hiding parts of the passage for them. Share this one with your students, mine have been using it. (Desmond created this app with Canva Code)

Slope Intercept Form Garden

This app was created to allow students to visualize a line in slope-intercept form, allowing them to drage points of a line and see the equation of the line as well as the primary components of the equation dynamically change. (Aaron created this app with Canva Code)

Color Match — MS Bob Edition

This is just for fun. I saw this video where they played a fun color matching but I couldn’t find the it anywhere. So, I created my own versions of the game using AI coding tools. This MS Bob Edition was my favorite. Enjoy the sarcastic Clippy at the bottom of the screen. (Desmond created this app with ChatGPT)

Physics Tug of War Challenge

This app was created to allow students to practice how balanced and unbalanced forces can lead to a change in motion. This can be used to enhance learning of this concept in Physics classrooms. There is a basic mode and an advanced mode. The goal is for students to be able to calculate the net force and predict the direction which the object will move towards. 📚 Story Arc Outliner

I created this tool to help students write narratives using the 5-element story structure. They can add text and images to each element and then download it as a PDF at the end that they can submit to their teachers.
